The Siena College’s Students Event Board (SEB) presented the Albany County Correctional Facility for Children’s Benefit (ACCFCB) two checks totaling $10,299. “This is the FIRST time that we received financial assistance for our seriously ill children without asking for it; and, this is the SECOND largest donation that our foundation has ever received.” John R Smith, Founder and President of ACCFCB told the students and staff at Siena during the check presentation celebration.
“We were totally impressed at the level of enthusiasm and professionalism that was on display by all of the students and staff who participated in this effort” Smith further said.
SEB will start looking for their next local charity to support in the next couple of weeks.
